The Master’s in Cyberlaw at the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and in collaboration with Ecix Group was born out of the increased need for a new profession: cyber lawyers. The Internet and its environment generate new social and commercial relations, the regulation of which exceeds the territorial borders and the regulations of each country, constituting a new legal discipline: cyber law.

The problems derived from the lack of a global regulation of the Internet is part of our daily language: what rights and responsibilities do you have in the face of a cyberattack, to whom can you claim an information hijacking by ransomware, what to do if someone uploads content to a platform whose servers are in a third country, how to legally configure a connected car system, the fight against Cybercrime, or the regulation of IoT, are just some of the issues that increasingly arise on a day-to-day basis, to which the lawyer has to give a solution.

Through the completion of the Master in Cyberlaw, the student will increase their opportunities to find work or promotion, in a sector that is truly booming.
